Ethan Cole

Ethan Cole is a games writer at GamingInstant focused on practical guides, performance tips, and straightforward hardware advice. He enjoys breaking down complicated systems into clear steps, whether that means explaining a tricky game mechanic, improving PC and console settings, or helping players choose gear that fits their needs and budget. Ethan approaches every article with a player-first mindset: test the details, skip the jargon, and give readers useful answers quickly. His beginner guides, settings walkthroughs, and buying advice are written for people who would rather spend less time troubleshooting and more time playing.

Away from the keyboard, Ethan is usually deep in a long RPG campaign, tweaking a strategy build until the numbers finally click, or revisiting a favorite co-op game with friends. He keeps a running list of his preferred controller and graphics settings for every game he finishes, tinkers with his PC setup more often than he would like to admit, and has a soft spot for any game that rewards patient planning over fast reflexes.
